Management Trainee Programme Inauguration Ceremony 2018

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group values talent trainings and people developments, and strives to nurture young talents for the sustainable development of the Group and jewellery industry. This year, the Group consolidated the management trainee programmes in Mainland China and Hong Kong, China and launched a two-year training and mentorship programme. An inauguration ceremony was held in Hong Kong Science Park on 4 July. Managing Director Kent Wong officiated and gave opening speech, sharing his experience over the 40 years on upholding innovative spirit, pursuing breakthroughs and advancements for moving the Group forward.

Former Commissioner of Police of Hong Kong, Lee Ming-kwai; Founder of Social Ventures Hong Kong, Francis Ngai and Associate Dean of Ivey Business School, Professor Chris WH Chan were invited to share with the trainees the requirements and characteristics of a successful business leader. During the ceremony, honourable guests also encouraged all youngsters to experience different cultures, maintain an open mind and enrich their understandings on the society, the market and business, so as to contribute to the development of the society.
