The First Jewelry Innovation and Creativity Summit of China jointly organised by the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China and the Shunde People’s Government of Foshan was held in Lunjiao, Shunde District on 19 July. Under the theme of “Borderless Imagination of Jade”, the Summit aimed to explore new ideas about jade jewellery design, bringing the profound culture of Chinese jade to a broader audience. 

The Summit was well-attended by 400 industry elites, including the two keynote speakers Mr. Kent Wong, Managing Director of the Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group and Mr. Wallace Chan, an internationally renowned Chinese jewellery artist. To pass on and promote artisanal spirit, Kent and Wallace shared the outlook and expectations for the future development of the industry, as well as the inspiring views on jewellery design respectively.
