Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is delighted to announce its participation in the Packaging Reduction Charter, which was launched by the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department in March 2025 to support Hong Kong's long-term goal of carbon neutrality. The Charter encourages businesses to minimise unnecessary material usage, increase the recyclability and reusability of packaging, and explore innovative solutions that help alleviate the pressure on landfills. Under this pledge, the Group undertakes to strengthen its efforts in adopting sustainable packaging practices.
In alignment with its sustainability blueprint, “CTF Jewellery Sustainability 2049” introduced in December 2024, the Group is fully committed to preserving natural resources and fostering a sustainable future. The blueprint outlines strategic initiatives to transition to low-impact operations that reduce environmental impacts and emissions across value chains. Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group aspires to achieve net-zero emissions by 2049.
In pursuit of these long-term goals, the Group has launched its first 100% recycled gold collection in Mainland China under its individual brand MONOLOGUE, with its product packaging made from 50% recycled materials. In preparation for broader implementation, the Group is planning to expand its sustainability efforts by encouraging in-store customers to reduce unnecessary packaging, supporting sustainable packaging reduction practices.
