Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is delighted to announce its first inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index (previously known as Dow Jones Sustainability World Index) and its inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index (previously known as Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index) for the second consecutive year.
Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) track the financial performances of leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide and are one of the world’s most renowned indices for ESG which are widely recognised and trusted by experts over the world. Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria, while Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index represents the top 20% of 600 largest companies in the Asia-Pacific developed region.
As the only Hong Kong jewellery company to be included in both indices, these recognitions are testaments to Chow Tai Fook Jewellery’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, and our continued efforts to drive positive change across the jewellery sector.
The Group launched the new sustainability blueprint “Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Sustainability 2049” in December 2024, representing our commitment to fostering a more sustainable future for both the Group and communities, aligned with our vision - “To be the leading global jewellery brand that is a trusted lifetime partner for every generation”.
