On 4th October 2023, Mr. Kent Wong, Managing Director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, and Mr. Simon Hui, Director of the Group’s Diamond Management Centre, participated in the CIBJO Congress 2023, sharing their in-depth knowledge of Fei Cui and natural diamonds. The CIBJO Congress is the official assembly for the World Jewellery Confederation's Delegates, and serves as the annual meeting venue for CIBJO’s sectoral commissions.
As the moderator for the Fei Cui session, Mr. Wong joined other members of the Fei Cui Working Group to discuss strategies for Fei Cui market development. This included conversations around establishing an international standard for Fei Cui identification and description.
Mr. Hui participated in the session hosted by the CIBJO Diamond Commission in India. This session addressed current challenges and the state of the natural diamond market. He highlighted the positive outlook for the Chinese market and underscored the value that Chinese consumers attribute to natural diamonds.
