Joining Hands with the Beijing Sport University Education Foundation in Supporting National Sportsmanship Development
In a heartfelt commitment to nurturing national sportsmanship and inspiring the dreams of young athletes, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group joined forces with the Beijing Sport University Education Foundation, donating RMB120 million to establish the “Cheng Kar-Shun Champion Development Foundation”, which is a fund aiming to cultivate elite sports talents, elevate competitive sports education at the Beijing Sport University, and strengthen youth training systems across a diverse range of sports disciplines.
Since 2022, the fund has already made a profound impact and honoured the dedication of over 700 student-athletes, coaches, and faculty members. It has also provided assistance to 5 university teams, enabling them to participate in 17 national and international-level competitions as a form of recognition and support. Additionally, the fund awarded recognition to exceptional students from the Beijing Sport University who showcased their talents at the 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics, celebrating their achievements on the international stage. Since 2025, the fund has launched a five-year rural sports teacher training programme, aiming to cultivate 500 professional sports teachers in rural regions and promote the development of sports education in the countryside.
