International Day of Families

The International Day of Families on May 15 serves as a meaningful occasion to promote the importance of families and their role in society. In 2024, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group marked this day by launching a series of volunteer activities across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore, aiming to promote family happiness, strengthen connections, and foster societal awareness of these values.

Mainland China: Spreading Care and Kindness

The volunteer teams in various regions have organised a wide range of initiatives to spread care and kindness. These initiatives included environmental protection campaigns, book donations, blood donation, essential supplies donations, and visits to children’s welfare institutions. Through these efforts, we aim to make a positive impact on the community and inspire others to join us in creating a more caring and compassionate society.

Hong Kong: Fostering Quality Family Time

Hong Kong volunteers and their families participated in the "Homeland" Family Market 2024, held at PMQ in Central organised by the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society. The event aimed to promote meaningful family interactions and quality time. Our volunteers contributed by assisting in operating the family game booths, creating opportunities for fun and fostering stronger family bonds.

Macau: Promoting Environmental Awareness and Family Bonding

Our Macau parent-child volunteers joined a beach clean-up at Hac Sa Beach. This activity not only educated the next generation on the environmental impact of marine litter but also encouraged teamwork and communication among family members, strengthening their bonds.

Singapore: Bridging Gaps Through Creativity

In Singapore, the "Family Volunteer Day" was a vibrant celebration of family and community. Colleagues and their families participated in art and crafts workshops, bringing creativity to the local community. These activities highlighted the joy of helping others and bridged gaps between people.
