Offering “Me time” for caregivers in Hong Kong, China
Our collaboration with the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council on the “ME TIME” programme is a targeted initiative addressing the critical needs of caregivers in Hong Kong. Many family caregivers neglect the importance of self-care, which can lead to overwhelming stress and negatively affect their physical and mental health.
The "ME TIME" programme provides caregivers with structured respite through a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities to help caregivers temporarily step away from their responsibilities and focus on their own well-being. Together with our Hong Kong Volunteer team, activity is curated to create a relaxed space where caregivers can recharge and reconnect with themselves.
The programme spans multiple districts, ensuring broad accessibility. Through 14 events, 195 caregivers benefited, each gaining a valuable opportunity to relax, de-stress, and regain energy.
