Hong Kong Volunteer Team Spreads Festival Joy in the Community

Since 2018, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group has actively partnered with various organisations during festive seasons to organise and participate in community service initiatives, dedicated to bringing warmth and care to the elderly. We believe that festivals are not only a time for family reunions but also an opportunity to share joy and spread love within the community.

A Warm Mid-Autumn Gathering

The Mid-Autumn Festival, we collaborated with the Fong Wong Woon Tei Neighbourhood Elderly Centre of the Chung Shing Benevolent Society to host a heartwarming Mid-Autumn gathering. Our volunteer team prepared a vibrant programme of performances for 500 grassroots elderly individuals and presented thoughtfully curated gift bags to the elderly, allowing those in care homes to fully immerse in the festive spirit.

Heartwarming Rice Dumplings Delivery for the Dragon Boat Festival

During the Dragon Boat Festival, we teamed up with the Ho Kin District Community Centre for Senior Citizens to launch the "Heartwarming Rice Dumplings Initiative". Volunteer team handcrafted traditional rice dumplings and delivered to elderly individuals living alone. This initiative not only provided nutritional support but also conveyed kindness and care, enabling the elderly to relive the joy of traditional festivities.

New Year Blessings in the Year of the Snake

During the Chinese New Year, in partnership with The Society for Community Organization (SoCO) and the Ho Kin District Community Centre for Senior Citizens, we organised a blessing event. Volunteers personally wrote Chinese New Year couplets and distributed these blessing-filled scrolls to 950 elderly individuals. Each couplet carried our heartfelt wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity in the New Year. The event allowed the elderly to deeply feel the care and warmth of the community.
