Partnership with the Education Bureau: Junior Business Case Competition Ignites the Next Generation’s Creative Spark
In today’s fast-evolving world, where technology is reshaping industries at unprecedented speed, creativity and innovation have become indispensable. In support of the Chief Executive’s Policy Address encouraging schools to foster entrepreneurial and innovative mindsets, the Education Bureau’s Technology Education Section has partnered with the Centre for Entrepreneurship and the Centre for Family Business of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School, together with the Hong Kong Association for Business Education to launch the inaugural “Junior Business Case Competition”. This exciting initiative offers junior secondary students a platform to dream boldly, think creatively, and develop fresh business ideas —all while nurturing positive values and a future-ready mindset.
Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is honoured to be selected as the case study for this inaugural competition. Students are invited to explore a compelling question: How can Chow Tai Fook attract the next generation of customers through innovative strategies that support sustainable growth?
The competition kicked off with a vibrant launch ceremony on 25 October, 2025, drawing over 110 principals, teachers, and students. Representing the Group, Ms. May Lau from the Social Impact Department and Mr. Marx Wong from Information & Communication Centre -Digital Transformation Office joined academic partners for a thought-provoking panel discussion themed “Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation”. The discussion explored entrepreneurship, innovation, and the role of digital education in shaping sustainable enterprises. It also offered students a rare opportunity to understand how heritage brands like ours continue to evolve in a digital- first world.
The competition encourages students to step forward, think creatively, and embrace the spirit of innovation. We look forward to the brilliant ideas from the next generation of changemakers.
